Being featured on the soundtracks of major productions is always a great moment for artists. For August Burns Red , whose track "Bones" was featured in a key scene of the series NCSI: Los Angeles , the feeling might be a little ambiguous considering the context of the scene.

Sam Hanna LL Cool J 's character daughter is kidnapped off the street and held hostage in a sort of captivity along with other people. While she's there, one of the ways the prisoners are tortured involves frantically flashing lights and heavy music… and that's where "Bones" comes in.

Despite one of the kidnappers even stating that the music is irritating him, the intensity of the song makes Hanna's daughter's intense escape attempt even more tense, becoming a powerful soundtrack for the moment.
